Privacy Policy

DoWorkWithAI is operated by Strategic Student LLC, a Nevada limited liability company (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. What We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to provide and improve the Service:

• Account information: email address, name (if provided), password hash (passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth; we never see your plaintext password), and the plan you purchased.
• Payment information: processed by Stripe. We store only the Stripe customer ID, payment amount, and subscription status — we do not store credit-card numbers ourselves.
• Usage data: lesson completions, courses viewed, badges earned, preferences (such as your learning-mode choice and whether the Doey helper is shown). This stays on our database to power your progress bar and dashboard.
• Content you create: prompts you enter into the Prompt Simulator, messages to the AI Learning Buddy, team invitations you send. The Prompt Simulator runs locally in your browser and does NOT save your prompts to our server.
• Diagnostic information: basic server logs (IP address, timestamp, request path) for security and debugging. Logs are retained for a short operational window.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide the Service and deliver the content you purchased.
• Process payments (via Stripe) and send receipts.
• Send transactional emails: signup confirmation, team invitations, and important account notices (via Resend).
• Protect the Service from abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
• Improve the Service based on aggregate usage patterns (e.g. which lessons get completed).

3. Subprocessors

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run DoWorkWithAI. These are the only third parties that ever receive your data:

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising cookies, or any other third-party tracking. We do not sell, rent, or share your data for marketing purposes with anyone.

4. Cookies

We use only strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (Supabase Auth session cookie, Stripe checkout cookie during a purchase, a session cookie for your learning-mode preference). We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. Because we do not set non-essential cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required under GDPR/ePrivacy or CCPA; however, you can always clear site cookies in your browser settings.

5. Data Security

All traffic to and from doworkwithai.com is served over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth using industry-standard algorithms and are never visible to us. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. We restrict employee access to production data on a need-to-know basis.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Payment records are retained for the period required by tax and accounting law (typically seven years). If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days except where we are legally required to retain it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can edit your profile from the Settings page, or contact support@doworkwithai.com with any other request. California residents (CCPA) and EU/UK residents (GDPR) have additional rights, which we honor on request.

8. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

DoWorkWithAI is designed for working professionals. The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In line with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, please email support@doworkwithai.com with the details and we will investigate and remove the account.

9. Educator Use & Student Data (FERPA Guidance)

Some of our users are teachers, administrators, and school-district staff. DoWorkWithAI is a personal-learning product for the educator, not a FERPA-covered “school official” service under 34 CFR § 99.31(a)(1). We do not operate as a vendor of record for any school or district, and we do not sign Data Processing Addenda, FERPA agreements, or student data-privacy contracts in the course of individual subscriptions.

Educators: do not input student personally identifiable information (PII) — names, student IDs, grades, IEP details, disciplinary records, attendance data, or anything that could identify a specific student — into DoWorkWithAI, including the AI Learning Buddy, the Prompt Simulator, or any AI tool we teach you about.Student PII belongs inside systems your district has approved under FERPA. Use this Service to learn how to prompt effectively; practice with sample data, hypothetical examples, or anonymized scenarios.

If your district wants a formal vendor relationship or a signed DPA covering a Team deployment, email support@doworkwithai.com to discuss enterprise terms.

10. International Users

DoWorkWithAI is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to that transfer.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will also be announced by email or in-product notice.
